Grr, Facebook: How can I remove the "born" story from my timeline?

Is this even possible? If not, is there a way to hide it from everyone, so it is only visible to me?

Click on it, mouse over, and you'll see the edit/remove button in the top right corner.

Visit your own profile, should be http://www.facebook.com/YOUR_PROFILE_NAME/info

Go to About, then Basic Info and change your birthday info to show only the month and day, hide the year.

Response by poster: I see the edit/remove button, but when I click it I only have "Edit' as an option. I changed my birthday info, to no avail. When I preview my profile as "Public," there is nothing on my timeline except a blank "Born" story. Grr!

Maybe you could remove your birth date from your profile altogether?

Jeffmik is right, and you can also choose "Don't show my birthday in my timeline." That doesn't remove the fact that you were born from your timeline, but it does remove the date.
