The ballad of what's-her-name and what's-his-name

Singer/album identification: Young female singer who collaborated with an older male arranger/composer.

(I believe he was a family friend). He created very ornate orchestral accompaniment from the demos she sent him. His arrangement is more classic movie score than Beethoven. I listened to it on Spotify a while ago and can't remember any more than that. Any ideas?

Joanna Newsom, Ys, arranged by Van Dyke Parks?

Not Joanna Newsom, but Van Dyke Parks was the arranger. The singer was Inara George. Thanks!!
