Another Burma Visa Question

Have any lawyers applied for a tourist visa to Burma/Myanmar recently?

Heading to Burma in a few weeks and will be applying for a tourist visa soon. I know journalists are flagged, but what about Canadian lawyers? Or any lawyers for that matter? Has anyone had to lie to get in? Just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to get pass the "occupation/work history" portion of the visa application. Will be applying for the visa in Bangkok. Thanks.

It's just a formality. Put down something innocuous if you're worried about it.

Yeah, put down 'clerk' on your form. Visa's gained from a dime-a-dozen visa shop in the tourist areas of Bangkok are not as scruitinised as those from more formal places. You should be fine.
