Crowd-funding or just move on?

Should I keep trying to crowd-fund this project? Just not getting approved for it, what's the scoop?

I've been working on it for quite a long time, a VERY long time.
My wife says, you need closure!

The Bitstreet Project
Example of it working

The design could be gimmicky looking at first, but I'm very sincere about getting this out there and could be a powerful tool for some people.

This post was deleted for the following reason: It's okay if you want to ask for folks' take on the viability or strategy with a project, but presumed good intentions aside this is this is a little too "hey should I crowdfund MY PROJECT GO LOOK AT MY PROJECT" as currently framed and not really totally okay for askme. -- cortex

It's a CMS and you want Kickstarter users to pay for development? Do I understand that right? If I do, I would say that people aren't interested in what Wordpress, Joomla and the like already do, even if they don't do it as well, and crowd-funders prefer tangible projects or at least something more unique. At minimum you should go over the copy to explain the product more clearly. Also, your should make your demo site really awesome.
