Help Finding A Summer Place Near WNY

I'm looking for a place to take the extended family this summer. About 20 people, ages 3 to 83 want to spend a week at some beach. Level of difficulty is we need 3 cabins/cottages/trailers/whatevers, and the location should be about 200 miles or so from Buffalo NY. So that would put us someplace between maybe Syracuse and Cleveland, and anywhere south of Toronto in Ontario. Closer to Buffalo is better. We're hoping to stay on a beach or as close to a beach as possible.

Previously we've gone to Sodus Point on Lake Ontario, and Sunset Bay on Lake Erie. Hoping to find a nice beach and a town with stuff for all those people to stay occupied for a week.

Any one of the Finger Lakes would work for you....

Presque Isle State Park in Erie may be worth checking out.

Port Stanley, Ontario. Family did a similar extended family vacation there for a 50th wedding anniversary and found a nice mix of beaches and cute town and cottages to accommodate a similar number of people. It's 165 miles from Buffalo.

Grand Bend, Ontario or Goderich, Ontario have lovely beaches.
Another option is Collingwood, Ontario, or Wasaga Beach, Ontario.
All of these are on Lake Huron and less than 200 miles from Buffalo.

Best answer: So just in case anyone runs across this one in the future looking for a place, the winner was Sylvan Beach, outside of Syracuse.
