Pretty pictures of home extensions

Architectural digest: looking for great examples of home extensions for city houses.

I'm looking for inspirational photographs or case studies of spectacular, well designed, beautiful home extensions from around the world.

Bonus points for extenstions to city houses. Modern is okay, but timeless is just as fine. I tried googling, but I get buried beneath the collective weight of small builders who want to sell me their services, and all kinds of newspapers telling me what the zoning laws are in their town. Thanks for your help.

Every Sunday, papers like the L.A. Times, the NY Times and Seattle Times will have home photo walkthroughs as part of their Sunday magazine sections. Most of these are re-models and extensions, with interviews with the owner, architect and/or contractor about the process. No zoning discussions I've ever seen.

Pinterest search for addition turns up math results but also home additions, some interesting, others horrible. Try adding the word 'home' or 'remodel.'

Best answer: Perusing Houzz might turn up some ideas. It has international metro areas and a section where you can read previous questions or ask new ones.
