Need advice on recording my lectures. I use presentation software and I move around the lecture hall/room interacting with students. I want to record audio directly to my computer while moving around a classroom. What equipment and software do I need to do this? I am open to all suggestions.

if I'm understanding right, you're not interested in video, only audio.

I can't help you with the microphone (Other then you probably want it to be wireless, and clip on like news anchors wear)

But the software you want is called Camtasia.

I just saw video of this remote tracking iPhone gadget called the Swivl. This could be really awesome for lecture capture.

Panopto has a really good reputation in this realm.
