Song question for the Green....

Simple question. Does anyone know who sings the new Vicks Dayquil commercial song with the line, "I love you everyday but mostly on Sunday."? It sounds very sexy and Google was no help. Thanks Green!

I wanna say "Good Morning" from "Singin' in the Rain"...haven't seen the commercial but think that's the same lyrics. Debbie Reynolds was the original singer, but I've no idea who does a remade version. Might help narrow the search though. =)

Response by poster: I think that may be one of their borrowed songs, and I like it very much, but no, this one starts with Drew Breese suiting up, then a fan suiting up, and it goes that way for a while. This song is very sensual along the lines of Etta James "At Last", akin to more late jazz/early Motown.

Sorry, it's totally not Etta James... I was watching the wrong commercial :(

Response by poster: The same sentiment, but not the same song. The words I put in quotations are exact. I could listen to this all night though, and would gladly chuck my current search for an evening filled with Ettas voice.

Found it, Venbear3! From Nyquil's official Facebook page:

Rose @Vicks: ‎@Abbye, if you love it, you're not alone! There isn't an actual artist of song in the commercial. The original track was created " on the spot" by a company that composes very short pieces specifically for our use in our commercial backgrounds.

I LOVE when we hear something awesome and it's apparently just non-existent. Lamesauce. =/

Response by poster: Lamesauce indeed!! It sounded so promising. We're actually now creating soundbytes to lure people in with no payoff of a fleshed out song? Dismayed........
