Early-20s crowd after-work hangouts in NYC?

Where do early-20s people go for after-work drinks in Manhattan?

Looking to set up an after-work date for myself and another early-20-year-old. But, all the happy-hour bars I've been to have a largely late-20s/early-30s crowd, and all the early-20s bars I've been to seem to be night spots. It'd be nice not to feel out of place.

Any ideas?

from experience: go somewhere on or immediately around nyu; usually the only people drinking there are undergrads or younger grad students.

Revival on 15th st and Irving, Botanica on Houston and Mullberry. That's where I remember my early 20s.

In my experience, Brooklyn.

But since you said Manhattan, I've been to Botanica quite a bit, I've been multiple times to The Magician in the Lower East Side and have seen obvious daters, then the East Village's always there.

Stay away from NYU unless you want to deal with NYU kids.
