Is there a way to tell who is reading my LiveJournal page?

Is there a way to tell who is reading my LiveJournal page, either by LJ account name or IP? Does it make a difference if they have friended me (but not vice versa) or whether I have a pay account? I know about the "My Guests" tab, but if I'm understanding things correctly that only tells me about people who are logged in and have opted to be "visible".

You can probably use a visitor tracker like Site Meter or StatCounter to find the IP address and other details about your visitors, though probably not their LJ account name.

I did use Site Meter for a while on LJ, but that was years ago so I can't help you with the exact details on how to set it up.

If you have web hosting somewhere, you can add to your posts a single-pixel transparent GIF hosted on your own server, and then grovel through your web host logs to get the IP address of whoever is hitting your page. It's an old trick, but to the best of my knowledge it should still work on LJ.

Ljtoys does what deadmessenger suggests without requiring web hosting.

I've never done this, but one (kind of creepy, IMO) thing you can try is making a friends group that contains only that person, making a post available to that friends group, and putting some kind of tracker in the post itself. If you see someone (except you) has viewed it, then you would definitely know it was them.
