Date format translation

What is this date format and how do I tell what day/month/year it is? 1316649600000

That is the Application Date returned on a building permit for my house through the City of Houston My City Map Viewer tool.

The work was performed early November 2011, so I guess it represents late October or early November. I'm trying to figure out when the work would have been performed on other permits with these Application Dates:

1274227200000
926985600000
945820800000

Best answer: It looks like those are milliseconds since the Unix epoch. Here's a quick converter I found.
