How to delete Delicious tags that are mistakes?

I have a bunch of delicious tags that I don't want on there because they have typos in them or because they are synonyms of other categories and I want them all together (e.g a 'teaching' tag and an 'education' tag. And an educat9on tag-- the mistake that really annoys me).

I can't seem to find a way of doing this. I think I can work out how to delete links but that is not what I want. Anyone know how?

Go to the link that has that tag and edit it. Change the tags on that link. When all of the links that have a tag are gone, the tag will be too.

Err, when ll of the links that have a tag no longer have that tag, the tag will be gone.

Best answer: This works from the web version of Delicious... don't know if you are accessing from an app or not.

To delete a tag from all links:
1. Click the tag you want to delete, this will bring up a list of all the links with that tag.
2. Check the checkbox at the top of the list, this should select all the links on the screen
3. Click "Remove Tag" link. It should remove the tag from all selected links.

Response by poster: Thanks to you both! I knew there would be something heinously obvious....

Response by poster: Just worked it all out again. I was not logged in, even though I used the delicious tab on Safari to get to Delicious and I was looking at my tags. Now I have all of your lovely options!
