Looking for a large (48-64 oz) stainless mug/cup, pref double-wall

Looking for a large (48-64 oz) stainless steel mug/cup, preferably double-walled. I'd like something that's stainless on the inside, not plastic. Most stainless cups/mugs are about 16 oz or so (way too small), and many are stainless outside but plastic inside. Thanks for suggestions.

Not a mug, but double walled stainless steel.

48-64oz is pretty huge, but if it's all right that it looks thermosey, there are these ones and these ones and others like 'em. I have a junior 12oz version in my airplane carry-on bag and it's always worked great for avoiding the burning hands at the gate problem. No leaks.

The cup isn't integral, but they're so big they're more like wide-mouth bottles anyway, and indeed they're double-walled with "stainless steel exterior and interior..."

I'm also allergic to plastic liners, yuck.

This thermos totally rules, but it's only 40 oz.

Actually, this 61 oz Nissan thermos is probably awesome. I've got a smaller travel mug version and have given 12+ away to friends, with rave reviews. This monster thermos has great reviews on Amazon.

Klean Kanteen is stainless steel only (no plastic liner) and comes in 40oz and 64oz sizes. Unfortunately, their double walled stuff only goes up to 20 oz. If, however, you are typically carrying cold drinks and not hot ones, you could absolutely get the 40 oz Classic or the 64 oz Wide. I own the 27 oz Classic and I can vouch for it--no leaks, keeps things cold very well, and leaves no taste behind.

Finally, here's the insane, exhaustive of stainless steel bottles reviewed. I perused it quite heavily when I was in purchase mode and though I ultimately decided on the Klean Kanteen, there's lots of good options there (including a section on insulated bottles). You can also look at this list, shorter and sweeter.

Do you actually want a 48-64oz mug that you can sip from? That would be huge! It sounds more like you want a thermos, which you would normally pour into a small cup to drink from. There are many double-walled stainless thermos options out there.

What you describe is not a mug, but a pitcher. Here's a very expensive steel pitcher that is sort of mug-like. Try changing your search to pitcher; you may find something that will work. Totally agree about the plastic - vile.

If price is no object, you could get a stainless dewar, like for transporting liquid nitrogen. <.<

librarylis, THIS is my favorite guide to water bottles: eleven pages of reviews, plus questions and follow-ups!

I have also seen a barrel-shaped stainless mug that is about the size of an oblate basketball. It frightened me a little.
