Where might I find a better copy and possible English translation of a certain Indian animated short film?

I have recently re-joined MetaFilter as paperwadperfect . My motivation was partly because I wanted to find out from someone/anyone if/where i can find a better copy of this video:

I also need to find an English/American translation so that I can try to understand what all those li'l elephant headed rascals are doing.

I am assuming that you've tried to contact the YouTube uploader without success. The composition and editing is credited to Binoj John, who might be this person. The National Institute of Design is also credited. They might have a copy in the archives if this was a student project. Good luck!

Best answer: It's Marathi:

"Ganpati Bappa Moriya Pudhchya Varshi Lavkar Yaa" - is a Marathi verse, translating to "Oh Ganpati My Lord, return soon next year" (There are many names for lord Ganesha, viz. Ganapati, Vigna Harta, Bappa, Vakratunda...) Another prayer “Ganpati bappa morya, agle baras to jaldi aa” is "father Ganpati, come again next year."

Also - Ganesh festival and Ganesh Chaturthi celebration in Aug/Sept is very popular in Mumbai and Maharastra.

The Visarjan (Immersion of the idol in water bodies) is attended at different places and many devotees participate. "What becomes of the beautiful statues of Lord Ganesh once the Ganesh Chaturthi festival is over? They're placed in a body of water and left to disintegrate in a process called visarjan (immersion). In Mumbai alone, more than 150,000 statues are immersed each year!"

I cabbaged this from a few different places, including (gasp!) Yahoo answers.
