Film Fundraising Fun

What grants and other financing options exist for very independent narrative films?

I am attempting to raise funds for a very low-budget ($15-20k) longer narrative short film (~35 minutes). I am aware of Kickstarter, indiegogo, etc., but would like to explore other avenues besides microfinancing. (We already have fiscal sponsorship via Fractured Atlas, allowing people to make tax-deductible donations.)

We have searched for grants but it is very difficult to find any that apply to narrative film- the only one we have found thus far is the Awesome Foundation.

We're open to explore other options like product placement/sponsorship by a business. Finding actual "investors" is unlikely as the film will probably never make money. (The goal is mostly film festivals)

Any and all input is welcome, but especially specific grants or other programs we could apply for. We would also be open to hiring someone who specializes in this kind of fundraising, but not exactly sure how to describe such a position or where to look.

Thanks for your help!
