Firefox Extension?

Firefox Filter: I can't believe I have to aske this question but I'm exasperated. When I highlight a word or phrase in Firefox and right click...

on my computer at home I can click on search the web and arrow over, such that I can look-up the word or phrase in any search engine in the toolbar's drop down menu -- in addition to google (IMDB, Wikipedia, Ebay, Amazon etc.) Well, I just installed Firefox on a non tech savvy friend's computer and the only option the right click menu gives is Google. Was this an extension? I've been through every search extension on the Mozilla site and I want to give my friend this capability... Thanks in advance. I feel like an idiot.
