keyboard with quiet keys?

Can anyone recommend a quiet keyboard?
I have a Dell laptop. I type very quickly. The keys on this laptop are loud, and sometimes I'd like them to be quieter. Is there something reasonably priced that I can use? wired or unwired is fine. Portable would be great but isn't necessary at all. In the future is there a different kind of laptop with quieter keys? I don't remember my old computer having this issue......
