Asking for a friend: Do you remember this (possibly made-for-TV) movie from the 1980's? A girl goes to sleep one night and wakes up as a boy the next morning. Her parents are scandalized when she wants her best friend (who is still female) to sleep over.

Just for future reference: It's easy to find stuff like this with imdb keywords. I just looked at the fairly short list under 'gender swap' to find this one.
