Solder-guy for hire in NYC?

I occasionally have the need for precision soldering on small electronic boards. Is there someone in NYC who I can pay to do this? Manhattan or Brooklyn would be ideal.

For example, I want to swap a small chip from one hard drive board to another, solder a new USB plug onto a thumb drive, and remove solder from some similar projects that I tried myself with imprecise tools.

I would try contacting the folks at NYC Resistor.

Have you thought about just advertising on craigslist? There was a time when I soldered stuff together for a living and I would very much not have minded picking up extra side work. Mention in your ad that you'll want to see examples of previous work to make sure they can handle boards small enough for your needs.
