Help me rape and pillage BJs for my new home...

The context is that my fiance and I are moving into our new home. It's not just any home, it's a triple-decker where we'll be landlords. We like to think we're shrewd, but honestly, we have no idea.

My buddy is taking me over to the local (in this case actually BJs) wholesaler tomorrow night to help get some good stuff in bulk.

- What are the best things to get at stores like this (also, what are the traps)?

- We've never been landlords, what kind of supplies should we get that are common to maintenance and repair?

- We're also starting a health regime where we plan on cutting out most starches and sugars. Are there bulk items that are healthy (as opposed to claim to be healthy) that you can find here? What about frozen foods?

- Are there any big ticket items that are usually loss leaders at places like this: electronics, furniture, exercise machines?

Thanks for taking a look!
