How to quickly bone up on current Broadway?

Is there something like TWoP for Broadway Shows? I'm looking for a resource like Television Without Pity for Broadway shows - something that will give a reader an in-depth plot synopsis sufficient to formulate a rough opinion (or fake one's way through conversations about the plays if someone hasn't actually seen them).

Wikipedia has pretty detailed plot synopses of the shows I've looked up. Holds true for movies as well. Check out the one for Wicked for example.

There's not really anything comparable to TWOP for Broadway. You can see reviews at TalkinBroadway, videos (legal ones) at BroadwayWorld, basic reference information at IBDB, but nothing like the detailed synopses you're asking about. For musicals, your best option might be to get a copy of the cast CD (libraries often have them), listen to the songs, and read the liner notes.
