Who's the woman holdin' the rifle?

Where is this photo from?

The disc art comes from a Rome album, and I've been interested in trying to find a more complete image or print of it. From the general motif of the album's art and photo clues it looks like the female in the picture's a partisan in the Spanish Civil War, if that gives any hints. (Whether Republican or Nationalist I'm not sure, but I'm leaning towards the former.)

Any ideas, hive mind, of the photo's origins? Or perhaps of sources I can peruse to find it?

Unfortunately, bumping up the contrast and sloppily filling in the center bit doesn't improve TinEye or Google Image searches. (And cropping to just her face offers no digital leads, either.)

Couldn't find her in your archives, Ideefixe -- looks like it's a harder find than I thought!
