Not the Three Musketeers!

Need Halloween costumes for three people...me, my sister, and her boyfriend.

My sister and her boyfriend are visiting me Halloween weekend, and we'll be attending a costume party. We want to dress up as something together, but not something that will force us to be linked all night (like a horse or something). I also don't love dressing up as something incredibly conspicuous, and would prefer dressing up as actual people, preferably those who will be immediately recognized. Something like dressing up as the characters in Mad Men would be good. I'm not really the type of person who can pull off some punny or obscure costume.

specific villains in batman, or some other identifiable group from pop culture (especially movies or music) are always good. best is if the original group is also 3 people. :)

Best answer: Velma, Daphne, and Fred. You could spend the evening looking for a stoner and a Great Dane.

Dress up like cowboys with big handlebar mustaches, and go as Virgil, Morgan, and Wyatt Earp.

Best answer: Jack, Janet and Chrissie? Henry, June and Anaïs? Mary and her two little lambs? One year, three of my friends went as The Cat in the Hat, Thing #1 and Thing #2.

Cheap one: Each of the women have a t-shirt with an "X" on it. The boyfriend has a T-shirt with "Y" on it. Bam! You're Klinefelter's syndrome.

I don't get it, but why not all have X? then one is Xtreme, two is indie group The XX, and three is porn/a Vin Disel flick. add a fourth for an Aussie beer

Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Meatwad, Frylock, Master Shake. Probably more conspicuous than you're looking for. Which is too bad, 'cause it'd be awesome.

Maybe characters from a movie you all like (I did Kill Bill with 2 other friends once...we had Uma, Lucy Liu, and a Crazy 88), or musicians? You could be Robert Palmer and 2 of the girls who were always in his videos (black minidress, slicked back bun, red lipstick), or just pick three that would be fun to dress as- David Bowie, Madonna, and Elvis or something.

M&Ms are easy: stitch or paint a white "m" on a solid-colored sweatshirt, wear dark pants and white gloves. If one of you is up to something just a bit more involved, a large brown garbage bag can be easily turned into an M&Ms bag. Recognizable when you're split up, but especially fun when you're all together.
