Recommendations for a private virtual pinboard tool?

I really love the look and feel of Pinterest, but it bothers me that a) I have to sign in using Facebook, and b) I cannot create private pinboards which are only visible to me.

Does anyone know of an online tool/service which could make this happen for me? A nice, clean, image-based pinboard-style interface is what I want, plus a bookmarklet which lets me pin things on the fly. A mobile app (Android) would be a nice bonus, but is not strictly necessary.

If you know something which isn't quite right but comes close, I would also love to hear about it. Many thanks in advance!

(The pinboard feature is not the primary interface, sorry. First click into a notebook; the pinboard option will be on the left.)

Zootool is very well-designed, has bookmarklets for both desktop and mobile as well as a mobile app, and I just checked and you can set your default to "private."

Response by poster: Back from my lunchbreak, and three great suggestions already! Thanks guys.

Zootool is, visually speaking, the closest example to what I had in mind. Pretty!

I was looking for something very simple, something Corknik like - but Springpad is seducing me with its plethora of useful-sounding features...

I'm a bit of a webapp slut, will try anything once, so will be trialling these three and will try to remember to report back with the best fit (maybe I can set up a Springpad alert?).

And if anyone else has any other ideas, keep 'em coming!

I was able to create a pinterest account without signing up through facebook or linking it to facebook. However, some of my f'book friends found me there anyway. Would be great to make a pinboard private as I keep wanting to use it to collect Xmas present ideas.

I've made pinboards of sorts by moving images and text around a powerpoint slide. Sometimes the simplest tools... and so forth.
