Where in Manhattan can I find cheap, battery powered toys?

Where in Manhattan can I find cheap, battery powered toys? I would be using them for projects/testing for a physical computing course.

Not sure what kind of toys you mean exactly but have you tried the street vendors in Chinatown? The ones I'm thinking of are toy animals that move around like this dog.

Have you taken a look at DealExtreme?

There're a few here, and they have an RC car category.

definitely chinatown and canal street. if you can't find a cheap toy there for what you want then i'd suggest you check the wholesalers in brooklyn (although they aren't in manhattan, obviously)
