The gang that cannot address straight

Washington state foreclosure question: My mortgage company has failed over and over to get my address correct what is the deal?

They have been corrected, it never takes. They have an address for the original land plot before the units were built and given correct street numbers. The county knows the right match of the property to the street address but they keep using the wrong one not only for the mailing and the hand service but it is recorded wrong on the filing documents as well.

What happens when they do foreclose on a property they have no mortgage on and what happens to the actual one?

The actual address they have been sending papers to is now a rental, using that old "group" address, that is owned by the condo owners. Doesn't actually have a finance history as it has never been and cannot be sold or exchanged.

You need a lawyer.

Here (the other Washington), properties are identified by square and lot numbers rather than addresses. Having the wrong address might not be a big deal. In fact, for a period of time, my local government had one address for my place but the US Post Office had another, and refused to deliver to the first address.

Repeat, you need a lawyer.
