Help me unstall an hp printer.

I've got Windows 7 and a new hp printer, which isn't installing despite the update from hp. Now I just want to uninstall it, but it won't uninstall. I've uninstalled stuff before, I know it's not hard, so what am I doing wrong here?

The best way to handle this is to use System Restore to retreat to a point before you started messing with the printer.

From the Start Menu, in the "Search" box at the bottom of the popup, enter "System Restore", and go from there.
