Help me find a new roommate!

Looking for ways to broaden my roommate search.

My current roommate, through no fault of her own, has to move out by the end of September. Our lease goes until April 2012. Other than word of mouth and Craigslist, are there any other good roommate-finding sites or services out there (for NYC)? Preferably something that helps weed out the wierdos/criminals/deadbeats? I want to make sure I'm not missing anything. Thanks!

Check out the Stephanie Diamond listing. It's a weekly email list, and you pay a small fee to advertise on it, but it skews more towards arty/creative-minded people.

You can join the Nonsense NYC mailing list and put your listing on there; there're a few apartment listings each week.
