Finding each other sans cell phones in CDG

Please help me find the perfect place to meet up with my mother in Paris's Charles De Gaulle airport, specifically in or around the TGV Railroad station there.

I'll be flying in on American Airlines-- she on Delta, at around the same time. I THINK we are both going to be landing in different branches of terminal 2 (me 2A, her 2C) but I can't say for sure-- the maps are pretty confusing. Therefore we think it would be best to just meet at the TGV station as we have a high speed train to catch 2 hours after we land.

I had a bad experience in Rome where we were supposed to meet at the Dunkin Donuts in Rome's Termini Rail Station, only to discover upon arrival there were MULTIPLE Dunkin Donuts shops within the station. My mom is easily flustered and confused, and so I'd like to find a place for us to meet that is impossible to screw up.

Therefore, is there a specific place in or around the TGV station in CDG that would provide a fool-proof rendezvous point for my mother and I to meet up?

Thanks!

Are you going into Paris on the RER or somewhere else in France?

I don't have a specific suggestion, but this website has detailed info on the station, including a photoguide, which might help (especially if you and she can look at it together ahead of time).

Response by poster: We'll be taking the TGV to Avignon.

Best answer: This Lonely Planet thread might be usful. Apparently the Sheraton Hotel is a good meeting place, as it's right beside the TGV.

Best answer: Seconding the Sheraton hotel. The entrance is immediately up stairs above the exit from the TGV station. There is a reception where whoever gets there first can sit in peace and wait for the other.

Response by poster: Rongorongo-- does the airport Sheraton only have one entrance and one lobby? I could imagine it having two entrances-- one for the train station passengers and one for people pulling up off the street. I'm just trying to make sure there is no way we could miss each other.

Best answer: nth the lobby of the Sheraton. We met our friend there; works great.

Yes there's only one main entrance off the atrium of the TGV station. It's in the Airport so there's no street entrance per se. She sat on a comfy sofa and watched the door for us to arrive.
