Scuba and Snorkel on Same Boat Trip?

Looking for a Maui company that will do Scuba and Snorkel on the same trip - any suggestions?

I'm SCUBA certified, my wife isn't, we'd like to go on the same boat together but do our own things. It looks like Maui Magic and Trilogy both no longer offer this as an option. Any other thoughts?

Why not both go scuba diving? Your wife doesn't need certification. My wife and I were recently in Oahu and we went scuba diving with these guys. It's the wrong island, but if you give them a call, they might have a setup on Maui too. We were skeptical (and only ever snorkelled), but they're #1 rated on TripAdvisor, and it was the highlight of our trip. 2 dives (30 + 40ft), swiming with turtles and reef sharks, etc after a short orientation/training meeting.

Best answer: Maui Dive Shop claims to do both. Molokini crater is a friendly site for both SCUBA and snorkelling, though the back wall is best done on SCUBA.

The folks at Island Diving http://www.oahuscubadiving.com/. (once again wrong island ) sometimes have trips there. I've been diving with them twice and they were low key and fun at same time. Ymmv - we are experienced NC divers used to rough seas and free range diving so they let us do our own thing. They have nitrox too. Whatever you do, don't miss a chance to dive while you're on the islands. Have fun!
