Best Scifi Blog Ever

What is the best science fiction blog?

I used to read io9, before Gawker did its stupid reformat. I am looking for the blog to take its place -- a clearing house for books, movies and tv news and other sci fi goodies.

Now I look at SciFi Signal, The Mary Sue, and blastr, but not regularly, because none of them do what io9 did for me.

What is the sci fi blog that I will want to look at every day?

Best answer: I've recently been turned onto Tor.com. If you liked what io9 was, I think you'll like Tor.

Strange Horizons isn't bad for reviews, poetry, and other goodness ...

JUST IN CASE you still want to read io9, >this feed puts the entirety of the posts in your RSS reader, instead of just a teaser.

Best answer: Mefi's own John Scalzi's blog does a lot of what you're looking for and is an entertaining read to boot.

I really like Abigail Nussbaum's blog Asking The Wrong Questions. Her posts are less immediately topical and more long form reviews of books, movies, and shows. Her "Posts of Note" are an excellent place to start.

Scalzi's blog is the only one I read every day, mostly because he posts every day. I check out Making Light once or twice a week.
