What is the best way to get current stock quotes to display on my web page?

I know you can create a Yahoo Finance widget and grab that code and put it on a site, but I really want to be able to format it myself. Is there a good way to get current real time prices using PHP or javascript?

I have a (private) PHP script that fetches the specific Yahoo Finances webpage and with the help of regular expressions, I extract the price, variation, etc.

Without a doubt, it is against their licence agreement, but that page has one hit per week - me.

Yahoo provides stock quotes in CSV format too, doubt they have any issue with it.

wget will work with a link like:
http://finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s=GE+VZV&f=snd1l1yr
some detail on it:
