BookFilter: Please help me find the adult equivalent of I'm Gonna Like Me

I worked for a children's program with a copy of that book around. I've read it aloud to so many kids and like the message but...I'm an adult. What books or websites have the same unabashed "I'm still gonna like myself even when it's hitting the fan" message but for the grown-up set?

Non-fiction please and I'm not looking for, say, a collection of stories about people with functional self-esteem.

This isn't exactly what you're looking for, but considering that I carry a copy of it folded up in my wallet to look at when shit hits the fan, I have to recommend Desiderata.
