What's movie/tv show am I thinking of?

This question was inspired after watching 'My Sister's Keeper' and I have vague recollections of a movie or TV show where a young girl is dying and she wants a boy to kiss her (or possibly even more).

Problem is that there is a biggish age-gap between the boy (who I think is involved with the family somehow) and the girl (girl is younger, boy is older). They're not dating in any way and the boy thinks long and hard about what he should do. Can't remember if they do end up kissing or not, and I can't find anything up on Google or IMDB about it. Not much to go on, but after reading some of the questions on AskMe, I'm convinced that someone out there will know which movie I'm talking about :)

P.S. First time poster here, and just have to say that I really love this site. Shame that there's nothing like this with a more UK focus (at least that I can find).

Are you thinking of Grey's Anatomy season two, episode seven: Something To Talk About?

The girl isn't dying, but she does require (I think) a catheter, and her over-protective parents are against her having surgery to allow her to live a more independent life. Alex is assigned to spend the day with her and one of the things they discuss is the fact that she's never been kissed. She asks Alex to kiss her. He refuses, but he gives her a great speech about how your first kiss with somebody should be special.

There's also the scene in Little Women where young Amy talks to Laurie about worrying she'll die having never been kissed, and Laurie responds with a promise that he'll kiss her before she dies.

Best answer: There's a similar episode of House (Season 2, episode 2), where a nine-year-old girl dying of cancer asks for a kiss from Australian Doctor.

Response by poster: Do you know what Nedroid, *that* might actually be the one that I was thinking of and I've mixed it up because of the whole 'hospital' theme. In fact, the more I think about it, it *is* that! Damn my horrible memory! :)

Best answer: There's an episode of House that sounds exactly like what you are describing. It's called Autopsy, from Season 2. A young girl is afraid of dying without having kissed anyone, and asks Chase if he will kiss her.
