Where can I get a short run of brown cardboard CD cases with custom sizing-- specifically 5.5"x7" ?

I'm doing a very short run of a new release-- 35 count total. I've googled my eyes out, and most places only offer 5"x5", the standard size.

If you don't know of any places, what about, say, a template, that I might be able to alter, and/or any info on exactly what type of material (thickness etc) is used for these things? thnx

I suspect any full-service print shop will be able to do it. The question is, will they want to, for suck a short run, and will you want to pay the price for a custom die and the short-run manufacturing?

Your best option may be to create your own custom template and construct the cases yourself.

For the paper...Are you talking actual corrugated cardboard, or "natural" unbleached card stock?

Response by poster: the natural stuff... you see a lot of indie bands using it and doing the art with stickers and rubberstamps.
