1. Go to google.com
2. Right click on search bar
3. Choose "add a keyword for this search" (I use "g" as my google keyword)
4. In your awesome bar, type "g site:" whatever.

I simply use it by placing my search terms first, no need for a keyword search.
For example: quicktime installer site:apple.com

You can also put a non-Google-able character in front, such as "\".
\site:ask.metafilter.com therapy
