Needed: women's tailor in DC

I need recommendations for a women's tailor in DC, please.
I need to have some pieces of clothing altered, and some others copied. I'm finding Yelp more confusing than helpful so far. An AskMe search turned up mostly questions that deal with men's clothing, wedding alterations, or are on the older side. There was one recommendation for Cheryl A. Lofton last year that sounds good, but surely there must be others?
I need a tailor who can do non-trivial alterations (coat linings, adjustments to lined dresses - not formal dresses) and copy clothes (from pieces that can be taken apart to be used as a pattern). I would like to get good value for money, but do not object to paying well for someone who does good work quickly.
If you know of someone in the suburbs who is a) utterly amazing and b) transit accessible (Maryland is easier for me to get to than Virginia), I will happily consider them, but I'd prefer a tailor in the city.
Associated question: for the clothes I'd like copied, am I expected to provide the fabric, or would the tailor be able to get it or possibly have it in stock, as long as it's nothing fancy (e.g. solid cotton or linen)?

Georges de Paris works on women's clothes. I had a former coworker who has very nice clothes, is very particular about them, and is quite a seamstress herself, and she has dealt with him.
He's at:

I'm the one who recommended Cheryl Lofton in the earlier thread. She's certainly not perfect (she's a little bit pricey and occasionally her staff don't do as good of a job as she does), but I really don't know of anybody better. She's extraordinarily good. Hence her large number of positive Yelp! reviews.
Anyway, I'll be curious to see if anybody has any better suggestions, but I would be very surprised if there is any better women's tailor in the District.
