Biofeedback-controlled video game from 1997-98?

Back in 1997-98 (when the Computer City chain was still around), I remember seeing a "mind controlled" game for the PC on display, and one of the titles involved steering a downhill skier.

I presume this was more biofeedback (as you stuck your index finger on a little sensor) than actually "brain wave" reading.. Anyway, does anyone remember the name of this hardware/software system?

Presumably it didn't sell too well. Pointers to any other current similar systems (USB biofeedback sensors, etc) appreciated.

I don't know what it was called, but I do remember it. I think it was electrodes on the scalp or temples, but I'm not positive.

The one I played back then was just a thing you stuck your finger into. It worked OK but I wouldn't say it was all the convincing. Or useful ;)

One of the relatively current ones is Wild Divine. I've never played it, just heard of it.

Best answer: It is, or was, called MindDrive (Google search). The gadget is similar the one used by the aforementioned Wild Divine. Biofeedback, based on the idea that thoughts generate differences in electrical resistence in the skin.

PlayAttention is a patented, dynamic integrated learning system built on NASA-proven technology that allows you to train your brain to gain focus, improve concentration, and pay attention.

This is sometimes used to help ADHD affected people. Comes with bright red helmet for sensing! It scared me a little when a fellow teacher dragged me into a room and stuck it on my head to see if it worked but it was not scary at all. It was quite amusing!

Response by poster: and here's more info and the skiing game!

Company that made it was called "The OTHER90% Technologies, Inc.".

Thanks again, gentle.
