Where can I buy loose moissanite stones in the San Francisco Bay Area?
I am marrying my fiancée in Perú (where she lives) and we have decided to have our rings made down there, but to get the stone up here. So I could find one online, but I would prefer to see it before I buy it. I live in the SF Bay Area and I haven't had much luck looking online for places that sell loose moissanite stones. I love my fiancée and I want everything about our wedding and marriage to be all that she ever dreamed, but I really don't have very much money. So that complicates things. I would appreciate any recommendations.

The manufacturer of moissanite has a monopoly on the process, so your best bet will be to go to an independent jeweler who can order stones in for you to check out in person.

Response by poster: I ended up finding a shop that sells loose Moissanite much closer to my home than I ever anticipated. I found it on http://yellowpages.superpages.com
