Turkey trot

IstanbulFilter: help me identify this building in Istanbul.

I want to visit but don't know if it still exists! The photo was taken in the 2000s. Zero other info.

My guess is that it is a construction workers union hall. Possibly in Taxim. Print out a copy of the phto and show it to any taxi driver in Istanbul, and he will know.

Thanks for the plausible lead. I'm still curious about the building, though, as my next trip won't be 'til next spring.
