Any advice for dealing with Acanthamoeba Kertitis?

Has anyone had any experience with Acanthamoeba Kertitis? In short, Acanthamoeba keratitis is a rare disease where amoebae invade the cornea of the eye.

My daughter got diagnosed in January of this year and this has been a huge battle to save the eye. Was just wondering if anyone had any experience as a sufferer or relative of one. Looking for advice on dealing with issues related to the disease.

Response by poster: Ok. Sorry, It was not a link to a for-profit site or anything, and definitely not a spamhaus or anything. Just trying to make some contact with sufferers/relatives of the disease.
