Show my boss the power of AskMe by indentifying this half-remembered mystery story/novel for her, please... She remembers reading a mystery ages ago about a stolen torah scroll. The torah was hidden in a stack of player piano scrolls, and only discovered when some kids tried to put it in the piano and play it. What story is this?

Whoop! Thanks jeanmari -- I've been thinking a lot lately about the difficulty of searching words just in books -- it's always hard to traverse the trash in google & doing it and Amazon doesn't really fit the bill. One usually needs to know some more details other than a keyword. But that site looks to be the deal. :- ) Take a gold star from petty cash and have the rest of the day off. You too FOB.
