Ecommerce Startup Costs

I am trying to find good sources on estimating the startup costs for an ecommerce site. My googlefu is not working, as all the sites I find are trying to sell me affiliations, books, etc. and are not 'real' resources.

I am thinking about selling teeshirts on line and want an idea of what up-front costs I can expect, thoughts on what kind of inventory costs and how to manage it, as well as similar business plans.

1) Look at PayPal's merchant fees.
2) Look at how much it costs to make T-shirts.
3) If you can't put a site together yourself, look at how much that costs.
4) ???
5) Profit!

Alternatively, you could just CafePress it. Less profit potential, but zero risk, and probably a good place to start until you have a feel for things.
