How to conitnuously play video, even after reset from power failure!

Looking for a way to reliably and continuously play a video on a Mac Mini !!

I'm hoping to find a way to continuously play a video over a loooong period of time through a Mac Mini. Also a way to have it reliably restart flawlessly (no logging on, never any updates) even after a total power fallout. The issue is also that the output samples a small section of the screen so the video has to play in the same PLACE and same resolution every time. Any suggestions?

Construct a Quartz Composer composition with a video clip, and put the composition file into the startup items list in the System Preferences > Accounts > Login Items preference.

There is also a setting in the energy preference pane to tell the computer to automatically restart after a power failure.
