How can I effectively sleep on the train?

Is there a travel neck pillow (preferably inflatable) that won't bring my head in contact with the (gross commuter-rail) seat or window?
The models I've seen, designed for airplanes, still force the user to rely on the seatback for head support. I just want to be able to sleep on the train without picking up all the exotic germs. I suppose I could try a regular pillow but I would really prefer some sort of hybrid solution that keeps the pillow in place and also provides neck support. Difficulty: must be appropiate to drag along on a daily commute. Thanks!

They look borderline ridiculous, but I've heard good things about the Komfort Kollar and the SkyRest. You effectively lean onto your lap with the latter.

Take a piece of old sheet or thin blanket or towel. Put it over the seat back (or over your head).

Response by poster: Update: I bought one of these from LL Bean. I get great 45-minute chunks of sleep on the train. Downside is that I look like an idiot, but that ship has long since sailed.
