Looking for help finding old site

Was thinking about this old website and would like to find it again, if it still exists. The site would guess the rune-like symbol you had chosen in a apparently mysterious and spooky but ultimately obvious way.

Best answer: The Flash Mind Reader?

Best answer: If it's not the one bcwinters links to, does it work like that one (addition/subtraction to 9 trickery) or like this one (visual distraction trickery)?

Response by poster: Yeah. The flash mind reader, if not on the money, is very close. Phunniemee has added a good one too. Would like to see others if you have them. Thanks.

okay, but maybe i'm being dumb, and i can't see the obvious way... HOW DOES IT DO THAT?

For the first link, it's always 18. The corresponding symbol is all that changes. In the second link, none of the cards on the second screen are shown on the first.

Did my sarcasm meter break?

Is it always 18, or is it always a multiple of 9, and all the multiples of 9 have the same symbol? (Can't click at work, but that's how the one I saw worked.)

Obiwanwasabi has it - for the first link, it's always a multiple of 9.
