[ConceptFilter] Is there a word for something that's simultaneously self-sufficient, utility-oriented, and minimalist?
This has been bugging me for a while. Dear AskMe: is there a handy word out there that summarises the merits of caravans, describes the phenomenon that is Wikipedia, and friendly enough to occupy my 'About Me' boxes without making me look like a complete loon?

Best answer: Modernist, or perhaps Bauhaus? Both of these terms are context-sensitive, though.

Best answer: I usually say "awesome" but "utilitarian" fits the bill.
