What sites can help me analyze a hashtag?

Please recommend a Twitter hashtag archive and analysis tool.

I just finished an academic conference that had a good social media community. The powers-that-be asked me to do an analysis of the hashtags. (I'd also like to have a text archive so that I could do a Wordle). Last time that I looked into this, a few years ago, I recall there were programs that did this.

If there was a site that did this with a combination of hashtags that'd be even better.

Please hope me with your recommendations. Free would be best.
