How do I save/export AIM chat history on the iPhone?

I have the AIM app (the free version, without ads, downloaded this month) installed on my iPhone (4th gen iPhone). I would like to export (or copy+paste, or email...etc) my AIM-iPhone chat logs. Is it possible to do this? I can't seem to copy any text from the AIM chat history screen on the iPhone. Do I have to resort to tons of screenshots? Help!!

First, type a searchable word into one of your AIM chats. I used "xyzzyq".
Then, sync with iTunes and it will backup the logs to your computer.

Open Terminal and navigate to to the Backups directory, and search for your word:

    cd "~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/"
    grep xyzzyq */*

It should find two files, the spelling dictionary and your chat log file. The log file looks like JSON.
