What restaurant/businesses e-lists have given you the best birthday swag/deals/freebies from? I want to know the perks you've gotten from birthday lists you've signed up for-- whether it be a free cup of coffee, a % off a meal, or better!

My mom's birthday is coming up and I want to sign up on these birthday lists that companies have set forth to "gift" their customers(or would be customers!) to celebrate their birthday. I know Starbucks does a free cup of coffee, Benihana's does $30 off a meal, I think Baskin Robins does a free scoop... but I know there has got to be more!!!! What other great places offer similar deals, or similar freebies?

What are your recommendations?
1.) Doesn't have to be free(though ideal)-- percentages off of a bill are great too!
2.) I'm looking for things I have access to in Los Angeles, CA (so I won't be able to take advantage of regional-type restaurants/businesses)
3.) Online sign up preferably on their website

If you enroll in Sephora's frequent buyer program, you get a certificate for a full size Philosophy body wash (Birthday cake- vanilla scented) on your birthday.

If you have a Beauty Insider card from Sephora, you get a birthday gift at the store (no purchase necessary). This year's gift is a Philosophy birthday cake scented body wash. Last year it was a small eye makeup kit, and the year before was a set of lip glosses, so you get some decent stuff.

Shoe store DSW gives you a $5 coupon good throughout the birthday month.

Don't ask me why I know about this recent Family Circle article, but here. Sorry it's a click-through link.

I've signed up for tons of different restaurants' email programs and most of them send something - free dessert, free entree' (with purchase), discounts, etc. Here are few off the top of my head:

Fuddrucker's
Chili's
Applebee's
The Ram
California Pizza Kitchen
Arby's
Noodles & Co.
John's Incredible Pizza Co.
Hungry Howie's Pizza
Pastini Pastaria
Chevy's

Etc.

Aveda, at least at their stores in Canada, gives a $10 gift certificate during your birthday month.

IHOP gives you a free pancake breakfast when you sign up for their birthday program, Pancake Revolution, and then another free one on your actual birthday.

My parents are all over Tony Roma's, apparently they have a ~$20 discount on your birthday (if you sign up for their club)

Baskin Robbins has a birthday club. Cold Stone used to, and it was awesome, but it appears to have been temporarily suspended.

Culver's gives you a free turtle sundae (the reason I'm now addicted to them!).

Rubio's: up-to-$7 free meal; good for 2 weeks; can be used multiple times.

And a tip: if you sign up with lots of different places, lie about your birthday so you don't get all the freebies arriving in the same week.
